Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:5-9
The Vision of FPC Children’s Ministry is…
We strive to create a place where children learn the life-giving knowledge of Scripture, gain biblical understanding of what a relationship with Jesus Christ means and be transformed by that relationship. We seek to provide children and their families with a community of believers that encourage one another in nurturing their spiritual development.
The Mission of Children’s Ministry is to…
A. Encourage and equip families to be the primary place where faith is learned and lived out. Deuteronomy 6:5-9
B. Develop in children an understanding of God’s Word and imprint it on their hearts through Bible lessons, Worship and Scripture memorization. Deuteronomy 11:18-19
C. Help children experience God’s love and lead them to a relationship with Jesus Christ. Matthew 19:14
D. Help children take ownership of their faith in Christ and prepare them to use their gifts and talents to serve our Lord. Ephesians 4:12-13
